3.3 - Update Actions

Data updates can be run as a single comprehensive action (-UF) or as a sequence of individual steps. This section covers the following actions:

Update Data Files	end-to-end action: download, validate, build, archive, and clean. Combines the four actions immediately below
Download Remote Files	download or copy server files to the local working disk
Build Local Files	validate, convert, and build local files from remote files
Process Both Files	download and build in a single step
Archive Local Files	archive local files to GDEX Servers via dsarch
Clean Temporary Files	remove temporary files from the working area
Unlock Local Files	release locks so records can be re-processed on a different host
Check Update Status	verify whether remote files are available for retrieval
